The CEO of the state-owned TV channel TRT1 İbrahim Eren said they still have plans to create their own Netflix-style digital platform. However, this task requires large technical means and logistics, it is necessary to develop a concept, determine in which regions the platform will operate, and create content. The creation of the TRT0 platform is a five-year task. In the meantime, a channel on YouTube with the same name will be opened, on which both the hits of the state channel and new TV shows will be posted.
