The filming of the Yeşilçam series is coming to an end, and Çağatay Ulusoy is already preparing for a new work. According to the Turkish press, the casting of the first Turkish Amazon Prime series has already begun, and it seems that his co-star has already been chosen.

Çağatay Ulusoy is one of the most successful actors of the young generation, with one success after another. After a successful career in television, the actor decided to pay attention to the rapidly growing digital platforms. With an exclusive contract with Netflix, he became the first Turkish actor to star in the first Turkish Netflix TV show. His series The Protector in the first month on the platform was watched by more than 10 million viewers around the world, and was among the top 10 most watched non-English-language Netflix TV shows in the United States. This was followed by the great success of the movie Paper Lives, that became the fifth most watched film in the world in March 2021.

The ensuing work on the series Yeşilçam surprised many – after all, it is a local Turkish platform. However, as it turned out, it did not stay local for long. Shortly after the announcement of Blu TV’s highest-budget historical series, the platform announced that it had entered into a strategic partnership with the American company Discovery. Yeşilçam turned out to be another success in Çağatay’s career, which Blu TV CEO Doğan Yalçindağ noted with great satisfaction.

And so, Çağatay is preparing to take another step towards conquering the digital market. After working in the new Netflix film “Black Istanbul”, he will star in the first Turkish series of Netflix’s main competitor on the world market – Amazon Prime. Note that the talk that Çağatay agreed to star in the Amazon Prime series has been going on for more than a year. Moreover, it was announced that it will be a screen version of the famous novel by Orhan Pamuk “Museum of Innocence”. However, the author of the novel did not approve of the script he was offered. It is not yet known whether he liked the new script or whether the creators decided to find another book to adapt. However, one thing is certain – the project is being prepared for Çağatay Ulusoy.

The details of the series will be known soon, but it is already known that negotiations are underway with Alina Boz, who may become Çağatay’s co-star. Alina has already starred in a series on a digital platform, playing one of the leading roles in the Netflix series “Love 101”. Now the young actress is completing her work in the TV series The Trusted / Maraşli, which will make the finale on the 26th episode. If she can be auditioned for the Amazon series, we’ll know as soon as possible.
