Scandal at the competition the best model of Turkey
Not everyone liked the photos from the selection round of the “Best Model of Turkey” contest. Journalist Omer Karahan published an article, reporting that in this gathering he was not imagining a modeling contest, but a refugee camp. The young people were brought to their knees like slaves before the jury. Associations surfaced either with refugees who were caught on the border with Greece, or a slave market, or a prisoner of war camp.
Was there any point in putting candidates in such humiliating positions without even offering them chairs? – the journalist asks, – the thought came to take a photo of such a humiliating scene of “modern slavery”. Okay, the organizer of the competition, Mr Ozerman stayed silent, but why did the 50 members of the jury, among whom there are very respected people, did the same? If this happened, then why were the photos leaked on the social network? Some young people in this photo may become the super stars of the Turkish screen in the future, but they will forever remain in memory in this position.
The only person Mr. Karahan would like to mention is the boy who put on a mask. His common sense is admirable.
