Filming of the Kale Film TV show Mevlana for the new TRT 0 digital platform will begin in August. The scriptwriter is Ali Aydın. The director is Can Ulkay. Starring Timuçin Esen. It is not yet known who will play the role of Mevlana’s teacher and friend Şems Ad-Din Tabrizi. Also starring Ahu Türkpençe, Kaan Yildirim, Devrim Ozkan, Ahmet Mumtaz Taylan, Levent Can, İlker Aksum, Yusuf Çim, Ushan Çakır and others. Yusuf Çim will play the role of the eldest son of Rumi Sultan Veled, the founder of the Mevlevi Sufi order.
