After three years of waiting and numerous rumors, we finally learned who will actually play the role of the famous singer Bergen, which Serenay Sarıkaya claimed. The choice of the creators fell on Farah Zeynep Abdullah.

After Farah Zeynep Abdullah left the TV series Apartment of the Innocents, the Turkish press put forward several versions at once about the star’s new work. And now, the wait is over, the actress personally announced that she was starting to shoot a film about the famous singer Bergen.

Recall that for three years Serenay Sarıkaya was preparing for this role, admitting that it will be a new step in her career. However, it was reported in the press that the singer’s family did not want Serenay in the role. Then the singing teacher of the actress stated that she could not master the Arabesque style needed for the role.

Eventually, Serenay left the cast of the film on the pretext of pursuing other projects. The creators of the movie held talks with several actresses. For a long time, Demet Evgar was considered the main contender, however, she has other project. As a result, the choice fell on Farah Zeynep Abdullah, known not only for her acting talent, but also for her excellent vocal abilities.
