Three Cents / Üç Kuruş

Three Cents / Üç Kuruş is one of the most anticipated projects of the next television season. Filming of the series will begin on September 15th. What do we know about the stars of the show right now?

Preparations for the series of the Ay Yapım company for the Show TV channel Three Cents / Üç Kuruş are underway. The director is Sinan Ozturk, who previously worked on the TV series The Pit / Çukur. The script was written by Murat Uyurkulak and Damla Serim.

Hazal Subaşı is considered for the role of Bahar who will be the love interest of Kartal (Uraz Kaygılaroğlu). Aslıhan Malbora will play the role of Kartal’s sister Leyla. Nursel Köse also joined the cast of the series in the role of Kartal’s aunt Neriman, who lives in the gypsy district. Civan Canova will play her husband.

It is not yet clear whether Ekin Koç has joined the project. Well-known journalist Birsen Aluntaş is almost certain,  but other journalists do not share her optimism, pointing out that Ekin has offers to work on digital platforms, including in the large-budget project Black Istanbul, where he can become a partner of Çağatay Ulusoy, as well as his own digital series, so the choice for the actor is not so obvious. Soon we’ll know what Ekin chose.

There is no information about the “Third Kuruş” – the serial killer Irfan, although many fans would like to see Engin Ozturk in this role.
