Azra Kohen won a lawsuit against Başak Sayan, who accused her of plagiarizing her book, on the basis of which Azra allegedly wrote her novel Fi. The court awarded the writer 150 thousand Turkish lira as compensation for moral damage. Since Başak Sayan could not pay the amount appointed by the court, Azra Kohen referred the case to the bailiffs, who will collect 250 thousand Turkish lira from the defendant.
