Birsen Altuntas is gossiping about the fact that 9 years ago Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan got the entire crew of the series Leyla and Majnun / Leyla ile Mecnun with his swearing. In the end, Cengiz Bozkurt vowed never to work with this person again. When Netflix first entered the Turkish market, they wanted to resume work on the series, but Cengiz flatly refused. The idea was shelved until better times, until finally Acun Ilıcalı  bought the rights to the series from TRT1. Cengiz could not refuse his old friends Ali Atay, Serkan Keskin and Onur Unlu, however, he agreed to act on the condition that he did not have joint scenes with Taylan.
