Turkish digital TV shows in IMDB

This week, the position of Turkish digital projects in the international movie database IMDB was still determined by the release on Netflix of the last season of Ay Yapim’s series Love 101, which, however, has already lost its positions. From now on, the position of the show will be determined not by its novelty, but by the stable interest in the released seasons among Netflix viewers. So far, only the first project of the platform, The Protector, retains such interest. It still holds its positions and is not greatly influenced by new shows.

Just another novelty – the series Club / Kulüp, as well as the actors of the project, which will be released on November 5, will surely undermine the “oldies”. However, whether O3 Medya’s project will stay in the top 10 a couple of years after the release of the first season will depend on its quality. Since now Turkish digital novelties will be released every month, it will become immeasurably more difficult to maintain its position.

The release of the second season of Yeşilçam on the digital platform Blu TV has raised interest in the project in the international database, which is quite interesting, given that the platform is local. However, this interest is caused primarily by the name of the leading actor Çağatay Ulusoy. It will be interesting to observe the dynamics of the project in the database after the platform starts selling the series to other platforms and TV channels, as promised.
