Why is Turkish propaganda losing?
Prominent journalist Sina Kologlu analyzes TV shows produced in Israel and Turkey that promote government policy. Israeli TV shows are released on digital platforms, targeted at an international audience, maintain certain quality standards, and this allows Israel to effectively carry out propaganda on a global level. Turkish propaganda series like Teşkilat are made for domestic use and are not competitive in the international arena. Will this change in the future, will there be world-class series that will captivate international audiences? This is a big question that certainly worries not only the journalist, but also the state authorities.
