Kerem Bürsin, who was supposed to star in the Disney Plus series, has left the show. What happened, and who will play along with Demet Ozdemir in the much-anticipated project?

MF Yapim is preparing the series for the digital platform Disney Plus “Between the World and Me / Dünya’yla Benim Aramda”, around which serious passions have flared up in recent weeks. The scenario of the project is written by Pınar Bulut. Directed by Hülya Gezer.

The main female roles in the series will be played by Demet Ozdemir and Hafsanur Sancaktutan. Since the director and Demet started following each other, the name of the main star of the project is no longer in doubt.

However, the producers had a major problem casting the two lead male actors. Initially, Kerem Bürsin was announced for one of the leading roles. However, after the scandal in social networks involving his beloved Hande Erçel, the actor decided to withdraw from the project. According to the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, the protagonist of the series is Buğra Gülsoy. Judging by the fact that the director and the actors mutually followed each other, this serial duet can be considered official.

It is not yet clear who will be the second main male character. He will join the team later, becoming a co-star of Hafsanur Sancaktutan.
