The Star TV channel, which has seriously lost its audience of Turkish series fans in recent years, is preparing to return with two big projects. As for the series “If the King Loses” presumably starring Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, there is no clarity yet, since the project is very expensive for the TV channel. But there is certainty on the series “At the end of the night / Gecenin Ucunda” starring Neslihan Atagül. The project is being prepared by TMC Film, which has lost its position in the market over the past 10 years, so the cost of the project for the TV channel will not be cosmic, and it will most likely be aired in the fall.
Neslihan’s fans immediately began to pick a co-star for her in the show. According to the number of votes in social networks, Aras Bulut İynemli is the leader. However, alas, this is not possible. Firstly, because Aras signed a contract with the Disney Plus digital platform to shoot in a new series about the life of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. However, the main reason is that he is one of the most beloved and popular actors in Turkey, and it is unlikely that Star TV, which is in financial crisis, can afford such a big star. Moreover, Neslihan Atagül is also a star and she “worth” a lot.
If Aras and Neslihan ever work together, then such cooperation is possible only on international digital platforms that have money for stars. On television, the producers will pick up a co-star for Neslihan whose salary will not ruin the channel.
