This week,  Turkish actor’s ranking in the world movie database IMDB was determined by the release of the new Turkish series “Midnight at the Pera Palace”. Since the project was in the top 10 most watched Netflix series this week, the positions of all the actors involved in the series have predictably risen. Hazal Kaya, Selahattin Paşalı, Yasemin Szawlowski, Tasu Biçer and Hakan Dinçkol set a record in their personal IMDB rankings. Since interest in Netflix series is fading fast enough, their positions will most likely drop next week.

The stars of summer romantic comedies (Can Yaman, Hande Erçel, Kerem Bursin) traditionally arouse the greatest interest among foreign viewers. However, we recall that interest in IMDB does not equal popularity and does not guarantee that the new project of romcom stars will be watched. To do this, you need to move to another category, as Demet Ozdemir did, for example. From now on, she is known not only as the queen of romcoms, and this guarantees that we will see the actress on this list in two or three years.

We also note the significantly increased interest in Farah Zeynep Abdullah, which shows a very curious fact: the Turks are also starting to use IMDB quite actively. After all, interest in the actress was caused by the screening of the film “Bergen”, which can only be seen in Turkey so far.
