Fans of the wonderful Turkish actor Erkan Kolçak Köstendil will soon see their favorite star on the screen in a new film based on real and absolutely incredible events.

A new film “Rocket Club Bandırma / Bandırma Füze Kulübü” starring Alina Boz, Deniz Can Aktaş, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Aslı Bekiroğlu and Görkem Sevindik will be released on Turkish screens on October 21. Producer Mustafa Uslu previously released such successful projects as “Ayla” and “Muslum”, which are among the top 10 most popular Turkish films of all time.

The plot is based on the unusual story of the school club. Its members engaged in space flight research, creating their own rockets. The developments turned out to be so significant that they attracted the attention of American and Soviet scientists. Later, the club was transformed into the Turkish Civil Aviation and Space Research Agency, which exists to this day with the support of the state.

Erkan Kolçak Köstendil who played one of the leading roles took clarinet lessons for his role for five weeks. He plays Necati, a janitor who is in love with music and plays at weddings. He supports a group of schoolchildren who are obsessed with flying into space. According to the actor, the story is born from a dream, the one who can dream is happy.
