A new show from the creator of ‘The Pit’

Great news for fans of the famous screenwriter Gökhan Horzum and the famous actor Timuçin Esen. In the new TV season, the magnificent duo will return to the screens with a new Fox TV series.

Gökhan Horzum is considered one of the most famous screenwriters in Turkey, who many leading production companies would like to have in their project. The real recognition came to the screenwriter after four seasons of the most popular hit, “The Pit / Çukur”. However, the next show of Mr Horzum, the series “Father / Baba” was less successful. Fans were unhappy with the fact that basically the script was not written by him, but by his wife.

After the end of the Ay Yapim series, Gökhan Horzum immediately started working on a new show called “Son of the shooter / Tetikçinin Oğlu”, which is being prepared by O3 Medya for the Fox TV channel. The producers offered the main roles in the series to Timuçin Esen, who signed an exclusive contract with Disney Plus, and Şevket Çoruh, known for the popular police series “Backstreets / Arka Sokaklar”. According to well-known journalist Birsen Altuntas, both actors are very warm about the proposal.

Filming of the series will begin soon in Bodrum (the filming location was chosen by Timuçin Esen). The name of Yasin Uslu is mentioned as the director of the show.
