The cast of “The Tailor” celebrated the show’s debut
The cast of “The Tailor” series joined the production crew for an official dinner and press conference to mark the launch of Netflix’s series. In a brief interview, Çağatay Ulusoy discussed his relationship with Ece Sükan.
A dinner for the OGM Pictures production crew was held on Thursday, April 27, to celebrate the premiere of the new true-story-based series “The Tailor” on the digital streaming service Netflix. Çağatay Ulusoy, the series’ lead actor, was there as well as Salih Bademci, Olgun Şimşek, Şifanur Gül, Ece Sükan, screenwriters Rana Mamatlıoğlu and Bekir Baran Sıtkı, producer Onur Güvenatam, and director Cem Karci. The show is scheduled to launch on May 2.
In a brief interview with the Turkish media, Çağatay discussed his work on the show “The Tailor”. In addition, he denied rumors linking him to Ece Sükan. The actor claimed that they had been longtime friends. They also worked on the series for 5–6 months. It was so long ago that he doesn’t even recall how and when they first met. All information on their alleged relationship is untrue. They were merely hanging around as friends; nothing extraordinary was happening. He pleaded with the media to refrain from drawing conclusions about things that aren’t true since they will continue communicating as friends. He doesn’t want to discuss his personal life, since he believes it should be kept private.
Çağatay Ulusoy appeared at the dinner wearing a t-shirt with a photo of Che Guevara, which was not a coincidence. In the “Kubra” series, the actor got into the character of a leader and successfully presented his new character to the audience. To a large extent, his character will be inspired by the image of the legendary comandante Che.
