Turkish remake of “Royal Pains”

Channel D is preparing to release another remake – an adaptation of the American series “Royal Pains”. The production will be by Fatih Aksoy’s company Mednova, which also produced the Turkish series “Kraliçe / Queen”. The director of the new project will be Başak Soysal. Currently, the casting process is underway.

The series tells the story of Hank Lawson, a young emergency doctor. Falsely accused of the death of an important patient, he moves to the Hamptons and reluctantly becomes a “concierge doctor” for the rich and famous. When the administrator of the local hospital asks him to treat less wealthy residents, Hank faces a choice – do good for others or for himself.
