Renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş reports that Büşra Develi has left the cast of the series “Kübra,” where she was supposed to star alongside Çağatay Ulusoy. The first season of the show, which featured Çağatay Ulusoy, Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan and Nazan Kesal, has been completed. The filming of the second season will begin soon.

The directors of the OGM Pictures show, which will be released on the digital platform Netflix, are the Taylan brothers. The screenplay is based on the sci-fi novel by Afşin Kum. The script is written by Murat Uyurkulak, Bekir Baran Sıtkı, and Rana Mamatlıoğlu.

According to the journalist’s statement, Büşra Develi left the show because the importance of her role changed. Deniz Işın has joined the cast of the series and will play the role of an artificial intelligence named Kübra. Despite the rather restrained wording, many journalists claim that the directors were not satisfied with the actress’s performance and decided to let her go. Deniz Işın’s character will appear in the second season of the series.
