After a 9-year hiatus, one of the most famous Turkish actresses, Özgü Namal, is making a comeback to the screens in a new show.

It should be noted that Özgü had been declining offers from channels and producers for a long time, despite the substantial sums they offered her. According to Birsen Altuntaş, this weekend the actress signed a contract with the producer of Gold Film, Faruk Turgut, for shooting in a highly ambitious project codenamed “Red Carnations.” The screenplay is written by Nedjati Şahin, renowned for their previous work on series such as “My Homeland is You,” “Atatürk,” and “The Club.”
