Great news for Bergüzar Korel’s fans! The actress is returning to the screens with a new series on the digital platform Amazon Prime, and we already know the name of the director for her new show.

Bergüzar Korel, who took a break when she became a mother for the third time, is returning to the set in the first Turkish series of the digital platform Amazon Prime called “Kanlı Yayın” (Bloody Broadcast), directed by Can Ulkay. Can Ulkay is known for his previous works in films such as “Ayla,” “Müslüm,” and “Paper Lives.” Interestingly, the director agreed to work on the show two years ago, before Bergüzar took her break, and he didn’t abandon the idea of working on it.

The script is being written by Hilal Yıldız and Nazlı Sunlu Kaçan. In the series, which consists of 8 episodes, Bergüzar Korel will play a famous television presenter who will investigate a murder literally on live television.

Amazon Prime entered the Turkish market several years ago, but until now, the Turkish office has not been rushing to release original productions. Perhaps this will change in the coming year.
