Cengiz Coşkun in the historical film “First Göktürk”
Great news for Cengiz Coşkun’s fans. The renowned actor is returning to the screens in a new historical film. What do we know about the project right now?
Prominent journalist Birsen Altuntaş reports that filming for the first movie of the trilogy “Göktürk” by producer and director Alper Çağlar, titled “First Göktürk,” will begin in October. The film, which has been in preparation for several years, will have a significant budget. The shooting will last for six months, which is quite unusual for Turkish cinema, where films are typically shot within two to three weeks.
Due to the prolonged preparation for the filming, the initial cast has left the movie. Currently, negotiations are underway with a new cast. Cengiz Coşkun, known for the series “Resurrection: Ertuğrul,” is in the process of signing a contract for the role of Bumin Khan. Arif Diren is being considered for the role of Istemi Khan. Murat Serezli will portray the character Alagan.
Filming for the movie will begin in October, followed by a break in December. It will resume in February, and the work will continue until April.
