Çağatay Ulusoy

Great news for Çağatay Ulusoy fans. The actor might make a comeback on television in an Ay Yapim TV show, which would be a worthy sequel of the company’s Monday-airing criminal drama.

According to the renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Çağatay Ulusoy, who is one of the most sought-after actors in Turkey but prefers to work on digital projects, has received an offer to play the lead role in Ay Yapim’s series “Gaddar” (Ruthless). The actor will announce his decision after reviewing the script by Hürer Ebeoğlu. The TV show is directed by Sinan Öztürk, who has also worked on series like “Insider,” “The Pit,” and “The Bad Penny.”

Recall that initially, Kerem Çatay had an agreement with Aras Bulut İynemli. The series was supposed to air on Fox TV in January next year, and Aras had already started preparations for the shoot. The production company unexpectedly shifted the date of the filming to September. Due to family circumstances (one of his relatives is ill), Aras Bulut cannot shoot in the autumn. Additionally, there are rumors that Ay Yapim has reached an agreement with Show TV for the broadcast of the series, which is intended to continue the tradition of mafia series like “Insider,” “Çukur,” and “The Bad Penny.” However, Aras Bulut İynemli is bound by a contract with Fox TV, so producer Kerem Çatay had to find another star for the lead role.

It is not surprising that an offer was made to Çağatay Ulusoy, but it should be noted that the actor has not yet accepted it, and it is unknown whether he will accept it. After all, he already has plans to work on a film by the media conglomerate Mars Entertainment Group in the fall. However, if Çağatay likes the script, the scheduling issue can be resolved.
