The creator of the series “Alparslan: The Great Seljuk” company Akli Film is actively preparing for their new project – a series about Sultan Selahaddin Eyyubi, which will be aired on the state channel TRT1 in the upcoming season. The channel has allocated a huge budget to the producer Emre Konuk.

According to the renowned journalist Birsen Altuntas, the negotiations with İbrahim Çelikkol, who was offered the lead role in the TV show, ended unsuccessfully. Based on the latest information, the company is now in talks with another successful actor – Uğur Güneş, who has recently finished filming the series “Red Flag.” Mehmet Bozdag’s project was supposed to continue in its second season, but it was unexpectedly canceled, so the actor may join the cast of this historical show, planned for three seasons.
