Hazal Kaya once again explained her position regarding the series about Atatürk
After social media users, as a long-standing habit, decided to criticize Hazal Kaya’s response regarding Disney Plus’s decision to cancel the broadcast of the series about Atatürk on the platform, the actress posted a message on her account, clarifying her position on this matter once again.
In particular, she wrote: “I don’t have official data or confirming documents about the censorship of this series. It is known that Disney made the decision to close its local products globally, and I believe that their approach to this process caused significant difficulties and negatively affected various aspects of the industry, especially the working conditions of the production team. I am not trying to impose my beliefs in the discussion and do not see the need for confirmations. I am not trying to emphasize my Kemalism and do not want to prove anything to anyone. For me, this is an opportunity to speak not what pleases someone, but an opportunity not to conform to social media. It is important to raise generations with open minds, free conscience, and deep knowledge, which sometimes means saying ‘I don’t know’ about questions for which we don’t have reliable data. I advise this to you as well.”
