Great news for fans of Çağatay Ulusoy. The actor, who has been preferring to work on digital platforms in recent years, is finally returning in a new television series by the creators of the legendary “Insider” and “Çukur”.

The new television season of 2023/24 promises the return of several big screen stars. After the announcement that Turkish superstars like Yılmaz Erdoğan and Kenan İmirzalıoğlu will appear in new series, another bombshell followed. Fans will finally see Çağatay Ulusoy on television screens.

Çağatay is one of the most hardworking stars of the younger generation. After starring in three seasons of the series “The Tailor” and the movie “Gentleman” for the digital platform Netflix, he immediately started working on the series “Kübra”, directed by the Taylan brothers.

According to the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Çağatay received numerous job offers on television and eventually made the decision to sign an agreement with Ay Yapım company, with whom he had already collaborated on the series “Tide”, “Insider”, and the movie “Wild Honey”.

In the series “Ruthless / Gaddar”, Çağatay will play a character named Levent (the name may change). Leaving his family and beloved woman behind, he enlists in the army. Upon returning from service, he faces unexpected events and transforms into a very ruthless person.

The director of the series will be Sinan Öztürk, who worked on the series “Çukur” and “The Bad Penny”. The script is written by Hürer Ebeoğlu, known for series like “Lady’s Manor”, “Mrs. Dila”, and “Fugitive”. According to rumors, this is one of the best scripts of recent times. One of the surprises of the series will be the use of the song “Ruthless / Gaddar” by the legendary Anatolian rock music performer Erkin Koray.
