Atatürk

Deniz Şaşmaz Öflaz, the CEO of the digital platform Blu TV, announced that they were also preparing a series about Atatürk for the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The script was already prepared, but it contained many battle scenes. When the management realized that this would require significant investments, the scenes were removed. However, it turned out that without them, the series lost its value. Therefore, the decision was made to abandon the project.

Currently, there are no plans to resume work on the project in the near future. However, when she looks at how Disney Plus handled the series about Atatürk, the thought “If only we were making the series” involuntarily comes to her mind. This is the dream of every television studio and producer in Turkey. Moreover, the subscribers have repeatedly requested Blu TV to create a series about the founder of the Republic.
