Kaan Urgancıoğlu vs. Journalist: Who is Right?

A few days ago, Turkish journalist Ufuk Özcan published an article in the Takvim newspaper alleging that actor Kaan Urgancıoğlu had rented out his bachelor pad after getting married. The article claimed that the owner of the house was upset because he had not authorized the subletting and had offered to increase the rent. When Urgancıoğlu refused, the owner filed a lawsuit against him.

Urgancığoğlu denied the article the same day and said he would be filing a complaint against Özcan for spreading false information. However, Özcan stood by his story and published the case number for the lawsuit between the actor and the landlord. He also said, “If he wants, I can publish photos from the case in my next article.”
