After the departure of the lead actor Barış Arduç, TRT 1 channel has made a final decision regarding the fate of the series “Alparslan: The Great Seljuk”. The show, which has been on the air since 2021, will conclude with its 61st episode on Monday, November 6.

The 60th episode of the series will air on October 30. Thus, only two episodes remain until the finale.

“Alparslan: The Great Seljuk” has been one of Turkey’s highest-rated series since its premiere. The show depicted the life and conquests of Sultan Alparslan, one of the most significant rulers in the history of the Turks.

The series received high praise from critics and viewers for its impressive plot, strong cast, and high production values. In the trailer that remains on social media agendas, Alparslan, portrayed by Barış Arduç, says, “This is not a war between the Seljuks and Rome but between the Cross and the Crescent.”
