Ekin Koç and Serra Arıtürk will play in the remake of the popular Korean drama
Great news for fans of the renowned Turkish actor Ekin Koç! He is making a comeback on screens in a new, exciting series, and we already know who will be his co-star.
As reported by the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the production company MF Yapim, known for TV shows such as “Mother,” “Woman,” “The Good Doctor,” and “The Prisoner,” has acquired the rights for the remake of the popular Korean drama “Remember: War of the Son.” It will be adapted for the Turkish audience under the title “Stone, Scissors, Paper.”
The lead roles in the series will be played by Ekin Koç and Serra Arıtürk. Yusuf Pirhasan will direct the series, planned to be broadcast on the D channel. The scriptwriter is Uğraş Güneş. Filming is set to begin at the end of the month.
In the series, Ekin Koç will portray the character named Umut, a lawyer who remembers everything he has seen, heard, or watched due to hyperthymia syndrome he has suffered from since childhood. He uses these abilities to handle the case of his father, Rıza Tanrıkulu, accused of a crime he did not commit. Serra Arıtürk, recently acclaimed for her successful performance in the series “The Club,” will play Umut’s colleague Alev. The casting and preparation for the series are ongoing.
