The producer of the series “Red Buds” is ready to fight to the end

Faruk Turgut, the producer of the series “Red Buds” (Kızıl Goncalar), expressed his dissatisfaction with the revocation of filming permits in certain locations in Istanbul following the initiation of an investigation by RTÜK (Radio and Television Supreme Council).

He stated, “They have declared war on us, but we will fight to the end. These restrictions will lead to a loss of 10 million TL, but we are not discouraged. If I were a coward, I wouldn’t engage in this work. I could produce series that lull people; I could pursue this profession without touching on irritating issues. But that doesn’t align with my character. Last year, they also penalized ‘Cranberry Sherbet.’ I think RTÜK will act similarly this time.”
