Ekin Koç and Serra Arıtürk began preparations for a new series
Exciting news for fans of Ekin Koç! The actor is making a return to the screens in a new series on Kanal D, and we already know the name of his partner, as well as the plot of the show, which is an adaptation of a popular Korean drama.
Preparations for the new series “Rock, Paper, Scissors” (Taş, Kağıt, Makas) from the Kanal D channel and MF Yapim are in full swing. In the lead roles, we have Ekin Koç and Serra Arıtürk. The team has already completed the script reading and started rehearsals. Viewers can expect an engaging plot where the forces of justice clash with the forces of evil.
This series marks Ekin Koç’s return to television after his work on Ay Yapim’s “The Bad Penny.” This is a delightful development for fans, considering the actor has lately preferred working in movies and digital series. Interestingly, his film “Make Me Believe,” where he starred alongside Ayça Ayşin Turan, became the most successful Turkish movie on Netflix in 2023.
Alongside Ekin Koç and Serra Arıtürk, the cast includes Ozan Güven, Burak Yörük, Hande Ataizi, Aytaç Uşun, Bülent Seyran, and Selim Galip. It’s noteworthy that this is also a comeback for Ozan Güven after a prolonged break from the screens.
The series is directed by Yusuf Pirhasan, known for the successful series “The Good Doctor.” The script is written by Ugraş Güneş. An adaptation of a popular Korean drama, the series will narrate the story of Umut (Ekin Koç), living in the slums of Istanbul, who possesses the unique ability to remember everything and tries to prove his father’s innocence.
