Recently, Serenay Sarıkaya received an award for the best female role at the Yıldız Technical University awards ceremony. After her series “Şahmaran” was announced as the winner in the “Best Digital Series” category, she took the stage for the second time to accept the award and said, “Again me, again me.”

Actor Rüzgar Aksoy, commenting on her words, said, “Again her, again her. Oh God, we have so few talented actors. I can’t believe that the organizers of these awards constantly give awards to the same talented actors to promote their projects. That’s why they win again and again. No, my dear, it’s not about talent here.”

However, facing criticism for his post, the actor felt compelled to comment on it. He stated that his statement was not directed against anyone personally and that he holds Serenay Sarikaya in high respect. Rüzgar also pointed out that he has collaborated with her frequently throughout his acting career. Nevertheless, he emphasized that young and talented actors don’t always receive the recognition they deserve at awards ceremonies, as organizers often prefer those whose names have high viewership ratings or are frequently mentioned in the news.
