The gala premiere of the Netflix series “Kübra” took place on Wednesday, January 17th, featuring Çağatay Ulusoy and Aslıhan Malbora in the lead roles.

As part of the event celebrating the premiere of the show, Netflix showcased a spectacular drone show above the Bosphorus Strait, featuring the title of the series.

The series “Kübra” tells the story of a young and deeply religious man, Gökhan, who receives mysterious messages from a user named Kübra on social media. Believing these messages to be signs from the Almighty, Gökhan is unaware that they are actually sent by an artificial intelligence named Kübra, which has gone out of control. It gives the deceived young man a sense of omnipotence by predicting future events (not without the help of Kübra herself).

In his quest to find the truth, Gökhan will gain both supporters and opponents. But most importantly, he will gain an understanding of what true faith is, and the danger posed by anything attempting to replace it.

The main role in the series is played by Çağatay Ulusoy – one of the most famous stars in Turkish television. The cast also includes Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Nazan Kesal, Cihan Talay, Aytaç Sayan, and Erdem Şenocak. The project is directed by the Taylan brothers, known for the series “Magnificent Century” and “Wounded Love.” The series premiered on Netflix on January 18th.
