Who will play the lead roles in the series “Next Door”?

The company OGM Pictures, known for its successful series like “Golden Boy,” “Apartment of the Innocents,” “Chrysalis,” and many others, is starting the production of a new TV show titled “Next Door,” based on the story of the famous psychologist Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu.

On Tuesday, the script reading for OGM Pictures’ new series for Star TV, “Next Door” (Yan Oda), took place. After several significant changes in the cast, fans finally learned who will play the lead roles in the highly anticipated show, directed by Cagri Vila Lostuvali, and written by Baris Gungor.

At the heart of the plot is the businessman Fikret (played by Caner Cindoruk), who unexpectedly marries the famous host Vera Yıldız (Şevval Sam). This news, which has exploded in the tabloids, has caused shock among the families of both spouses. Fikret Alabay’s decision to move his wife’s family into his luxurious house will be very challenging, especially for Taylan and Şelale, who share neighboring rooms in the mansion. Romantic feelings will soon spark between the young people, who initially clash with each other.

The lead roles in the series will be played by Onur Seyit Yaran as Taylan and Derya Pinar Ak as Şelale. The role of Vera’s mother will be portrayed by the renowned actress Melek Baykal. Bülent Polat will play Fikret’s brother Ferhan Alabay, who left the family and went abroad but returned home after a long time.

Originally, it was planned for Ayda Aksel and Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu to join the cast. However, as it turned out, they won’t be able to participate in the show, and negotiations are currently underway with other actresses who will replace them.
