The shooting of the TV series “1001 Nights” has begun
According to Birsen Altuntaş, after 9 months of preparation for the Turkish-Emirati co-production series “1001 Nights,” filming has commenced in Turkey. The Turkish producer of the show is Kemal Tekden, founder of Tekden Film, the film company known for popular series such as “Resurrection: Ertuğrul,” “Yunus Emre,” and “Hacı Bayram Veli.”
In addition to actors from Dubai and Iran, the series features Turkish actors Belçim Bilgin, Gizem Karaca, Cemal Hünal, and Levent Özdilek. Filming in Turkey began last Thursday. Cemal Hünal plays the role of Ferit, Belçim Bilgin portrays Gülay, Gizem Karaca plays Simayhahah, and Levent Özdilek plays Hakan.
It is expected that the shooting of this massive project in Turkey, with an enormous budget, which has been ongoing for around 9 months, will last approximately 3.5 months. The series, consisting of 30 episodes, is set to be completed by the end of 2024. It will also have a fantasy component.
