“Maria” film premiere in Venice

The Venice International Film Festival will debut the new film “Maria,” starring Angelina Jolie and Haluk Bilginer, directed by Pablo Larraín.

The film is a biographical story of the American opera singer of Greek descent, Maria Callas, rightfully considered one of the outstanding opera artists of the twentieth century.

Haluk Bilginer portrays Aristotle Socrates Onassis, the renowned Greek shipping magnate, investor, and billionaire.
