Evrim Alasya shared her thoughts on choosing her role: “Before I was offered the role in ‘Cranberry Sherbet,’ I was considering participating in the series ‘Golden Boy’ and ‘Omer.’ But when I was faced with the choice, ‘Cranberry Sherbet’ (Kızılcık Şerbeti) came to me. Reading the script, I realized that this was my character. Kıvılcım is a real challenge; it completely turned my perception upside down. It was scary! I was prepared for any criticism, and even my friends initially thought we were spreading some propaganda. I reassured everyone. I never expected Kıvılcım to receive such love.”
