Turkish Series Go Global: Madd Entertainment at NATPE Budapest
During the kickoff of the NATPE Budapest exhibition, Madd Entertainment announced new deals for the sale of six Turkish series to countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
The series “The Family,” produced by Ay Yapım starring Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Serenay Sarıkaya, has been acquired by channels in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, and Moldova. Another Ay Yapım project, “My Beautiful Life,” will be aired in Hungary, Macedonia, and several African countries.
The series “Wild Heart” will be viewed by audiences in Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, and some African states. The Medyapım project “Dirty Basket,” preparing for its second season, will be broadcast in Kazakhstan and Romania.
The series “Bahar,” which successfully debuted in its first season, will be shown in Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Serbia. “Remember,” produced by Kanal D, has been sold for the first time to Central and Eastern Europe – it was acquired by Macedonia.
NATPE Budapest, one of the key media content exhibitions, will take place from June 24 to 27 this year.
