Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler in the Series “Exiles”

A new series titled “Sürgünler” (“Exiles”) will soon be released on the digital platform TRT Tabii. Young actors Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler will star in the leading roles.

Directed by Barış Erçetin and written by Volkan Sümbl, the production is handled by İkinci Yeni Yapım.

Oktay Çubuk plays Khalil, while Ezgi Şenler portrays Meryem. The series also features Serdar Orçin, Deniz Hamzaoğlu, Ferit Kaya, and Kemal Burak Alper.

The plot narrates the story of Khalil Şahinoğlu, who, due to World War II, abandons his studies in France and returns to his hometown Antep. There, he meets the doctor Meryem.

Filming will begin in mid-July in Edirne. This is one of TRT Tabii’s significant new projects.
