New actors in the series “Black Mulberry”

The production of the new series “Black Mulberry” for the ATV channel is picking up steam. The project is being developed by Tims&B and will be the company’s second series for ATV after “Forbidden Love.”

The script is being written by Sırma Yanık, and the director will be Murat Saraçoğlu. The plot centers around Zühâl Erdem, a successful writer and owner of a personal development club. Despite a psychological trauma related to her mother, Zühâl provides for her father and three sisters in a luxurious mansion.

The main role of Zühâl will be played by İrem Helvacıoğlu. Engin Şenkan will play her father, Çetin, and Aslı İnandık will play the eldest sister, Figen.

Recently, three more actors have joined the cast. Naz Elmas will portray Nihan, the former wife of Tayfun – Zühâl’s boyfriend. Ebrar Karabacak will play the youngest sister, Begüm, and Onur Gürçay will play Figen’s husband.

The creators of the series are still in negotiations about who will play the role of Tayfun – Zühâl’s boyfriend.
