“The Albora Family” is a Turkish adaptation of the series “Al Hayba”
According to Birsen Altuntas, production companies are actively preparing for the new TV season. The preparation of the TV series “The Alboran Family Story,” a joint project of producers Kerem Çatay and Lale Eren, has accelerated. This is the first time a Lebanese series is being adapted for Turkish television.
The project, previously known by the working title “Storm”, is already generating significant interest from the audience. Ay Yapım plans to shoot five projects in the new season, including “The Albora Family Story”. This series is an adaptation of the Lebanese series “Al Hayba”, which tells the story of a family of weapons smugglers in a border village between Syria and Lebanon, intertwining a complex love story with a power struggle.
The series will be filmed in Mardin. The writer is Gülizar Yırmak, and the director is Ahmet Katıksız. At the heart of the story is the confrontation between the Albora and Baybar families.
Although the cast has not been finalized yet, many on social media speculate that Melisa Aslı Pamuk would be perfect for the role of Aliye, as she bears a striking resemblance to the original actress in that role. There are no official confirmations yet.
The series is expected to offer a fresh perspective on the dramatic stories set in Mardin, different from previous series like “Vetrin” or “Sila.”
