“Mehmed the Conqueror” on TRT1: What to Expect in the Second Season

Preparations for the second season of the series “Mehmed the Conqueror,” broadcast on TRT1 on Tuesdays, continue, with the lead role played by Serkan Çayoğlu.

The show has undergone a significant change: the direction has been taken over by an experienced director. Selahattin Sancaklı, known for his work on the series “Direniş Karatay,” “Akif,” “Balkan Ninnisi,” and “Naser” for TRT, will be the new director. He will be working in collaboration with Yıldıray Yıldırım.

Filming for the new season is scheduled to begin in September. The season is expected to introduce new characters, including Croatian actor Luka Peroš, known for his role as Marseille in the Spanish series “Money Heist.”
