Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Hilal Altınbilek: a new star duo in a drama of love and war

Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Hilal Altınbilek have been offered roles in the series “Love in the Days of Occupation.”

Ay Yapım is continuing preparations for its new project titled “Love in the Days of Occupation,” which is set to air on NOW in 2025.

This series, written by one of Turkey’s top screenwriters, Yılmaz Şahin, and directed by Nadim Güç, is one of Ay Yapım’s most carefully developed projects.

According to Birsen Altuntaş, the leading male role in this grand historical drama has been offered to Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, who recently handed over hosting duties for “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” to Oktay Kaynarca. If İmirzalıoğlu accepts, he will play Major Ekrem, with the series beginning in 1918.

The lead female role, that of the Russian dancer Vera, has been offered to Hilal Altınbilek, who has previously worked with Ay Yapım. Her recent performance in the series “A Beautiful Life” from the same company received high praise.
