Burak Özçivit has earned well-deserved success in Russia, taking on one of the roles in the popular New Year franchise “Yolki.”
According to the Unified Automated Information System (EAIS) as of the morning of January 7, the total box office earnings for the family film “Yolki 11” have exceeded 1 billion rubles. This figure includes revenues from advance ticket sales for the coming days.
The film has become the 32nd Russian movie to surpass the 1-billion-ruble mark at the domestic box office and the third in 2025 to achieve this milestone. Earlier this year, “The Wizard of the Emerald City: The Yellow Brick Road” and “Finist: The First Hero” also reached similar box office success.
It is worth noting that the film’s directors include Alexander Karpilovsky, Alexander Kott, Sergey Trofimov, Yegor Chichkanov, and Yuri Korobeinikov. “Yolki 11” was released on December 19, 2024, earning 16.571 million rubles on its opening day.
