The digital platform TRT Tabii, which has rapidly gained over 10 million users since its launch in May 2023, has decided to postpone its international debut event in Dubai.

The grand presentation, initially scheduled for January 23 at Hilton Al Habtoor City, has been delayed due to the tragic events in Turkey.

The event was set to feature prominent stars of the Turkish film industry, including Murat Yıldırım, İbrahim Çelikkol, Özge Gürel, Serkan Çayoğlu, İlhan Şen, Berk Oktay, Cihangir Ceyhan, and Gülsim Ali. The actors were in the process of preparing for their trip to Dubai.

The event was part of a comprehensive strategy to promote Turkish content on the global market. The platform aimed to launch its services in the MENA region, covering twelve countries: Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt. The decision to postpone came in the wake of the tragic Kartal Kaya fire, which claimed the lives of 76 individuals.

TRT Tabii, operating under the slogan “Stories That Unite Us,” continues to expand its international presence. For the MENA audience, the platform is preparing over 40 original projects and an extensive content library translated into Arabic, English, Spanish, and Urdu.
