Is Çağatay Ulusoy getting ready for the role of Koca Yusuf?

After a series of negative articles about weight gain of Çağatay Ulusoy in the Turkish tabloids the press went backward. More serious journalists write rave reviews that Çağatay as a real actor is able to change his appearance for the role. In particular, Pelin Kaya (a journalist for Vogue, Marie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar) publishes an article in the Sabah newspaper that says “Bravo, Çağatay!”, Reporting that the actor gained weight to play in a film devoted to the life of famous wrestler Koca Yusuf. She recalls that changes in appearance often benefit actors, they begin to be taken seriously. It happened with Charlize Theron, who won an Oscar for her role, it happened with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who after the movie The Dream of a Butterfly began to be perceived as a serious actor. She hopes this will happen to Çağatay Ulusoy.
