At a recent award from the Ayakligazete magazine, Ebru Şahin and Akın Akınözü received the award as the best couple. However, the actors were not present at the award ceremony. Because of this they provoked a negative reaction from the fans.

Ebru responded to this on her Twitter: “We learned about the award late, unfortunately, we were not able to come to Istanbul, due to a busy schedule. Of course, the fact that I could not join this event organized by my friend, first, upset me more than you. Please respect, my friends ”
