Çağatay Ulusoy in the series Çukur: true or false?

And if a duo of actor-actresses aren’t astounding, then the duet of the two talented male actors is extremely rare. This week Turkish journalists managed to make two sensations of this kind at once. The Turkish press reported that Necati Şaşmaz may appear in the series The Bandits / Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz. Thus, the audience will again see the legendary male duo from the series Valley of Wolves / Kurtlar Vadisi – Necati Şaşmaz and Oktay Kaynarca. Unfortunately, the same day, the information was refuted.

But the Turkish press has another scoop on the table. The famous duo Çağatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut İynemli will meet again in the series Çukur, where Çağatay allegedly will play the enemy of the Koçovali family Kulkan Erdenet. The press claimed that Çağatay had given an interview after dinner with Ay Yapim producer Kerem Çatay, where he stated that he would only star in the series of this production company.

In fact Çağatay has not given an interview to journalists since March, and has never voiced the strange idea of working only with Ay Yapim. For two weeks now, he is spending his vacation with his best friend Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and his girlfriend Duygu Sarışın on a yacht and has not met producer Kerem Çatay for quite some time.

It was only recently that Çağatay finished filming the movie Struggle Alley, which Netflix announced as the first of next year’s premieres in the world. As the biggest star on the Turkish screen, he receives many offers to work with major companies. It is not known if Çağatay has chosen something for this season. However, we know for sure that he can only return for 20-25 episodes if he still agrees to the offer to be cast in the Turkish project, since next year he is waiting for work in the American series “Museum of Innocence”.

Alas, the meeting between Çağatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut İynemli in the TV show has been postponed for the time being. But who knows, maybe the actors will play together again in the new Netflix or Amazon series, because digital platforms don’t mind getting those stars in the project, and they have enough money to do it. And The Pit / Çukur will remain a series of Aras Bulut İynemli, that made him a superstar of the Turkish screen. And the other superstars aren’t needed on this show.
