Organization / Teşkilat

On Sunday, March 7, Turkish viewers will see the new series of the state TV channel TRT1 and the TV company TIMS & B Organization / Teşkilat. The TV channel is betting heavily on this project, hoping to boost patriotic sentiment in Turkish society.

The producer of the series, Timur Savci, known for his previous works The Magnificent Century and The Oath, together with Burak Sağyaşar, promises to make a project that will be in many ways the first on Turkish television.

Filming takes place in Ankara, where 27 different locations have been built under the direction of production designer Nilufer Camur. For the first time in history, the filming took place on the territory of the Turkish National Intelligence Agency (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı). The Turkish army provided the combat and reconnaissance drones for the filming of the series.

45 personnel of the NIA were involved in the production of the series. Under their direction, scenes of hand-to-hand fighting, shootouts, car races were filmed. Also, two Sikorsky helicopters and four armored vehicles were used. Some scenes involved officers of the Police Counter Attack Team, which guards the country’s top leadership, including the Prime Minister and President of Turkey.

The series Organization / Teşkilat, starring Çağlar Ertuğrul, Deniz Baysal, and Mesut Akusta promises to become an event in the television life of Turkey.
