Uğur Güneş and Esra Bilgiç in the TV series Lawless Lands

The stars of the TV series Resurrection Ertuğrul Esra Bilgiç and Uğur Güneş are working together again. They will star in a historical TV show. This is not a story of creating an empire, but a love story. What do we know about the project?

Uğur Güneş, who played one of the main roles in the super hit of Turkish television Bitter Lands, left the TIMS & B project for a new series. As it became known, the actor signed a contract with Gold Film to star in the TV series Lawless Lands / Kanunsuz Topraklar.

Producer Faruk Turgut built a filming plateau in Istanbul that reproduces the small mining town Zonguldak. The series is set in the 30s of the last century and tells about the impossible love between the daughter of a wealthy industrialist Gulfem and a simple miner Davut.

For a long time, it remained a mystery who will play the main female role in the series, and now, finally, we found out the name of the actress who will become Uğur’s co-star. As it turned out, Esra Bilgiç, who had just completed work on the TV series Ramo, signed a contract for the TV series Lawless Lands. It was previously reported that the actress may have a project in Hollywood, but so far no agreement has been reached. It is interesting that Uğur and Esra have already worked together in the series Resurrection Ertuğrul and here is a new joint project.

Filming for the series Lawless Lands will start in May. The project will air on Fox TV in a new television season in the fall.
